The RCA BK5b is arguably the most iconic unidirectional ribbon microphone in the history of recorded sound, known for its pronounced midrange and unrivaled durability. Often a studio favorite for drum kit, guitar amp, and certain vocalists.
This BK5b comes with a rare windscreen and matching desktop stand. It is in beautiful cosmetic condition and is in excellent working order after full servicing from Cole Suddarth which includes a motor cleaning, new ribbon and new protective cloth.
We left the original cable for posterity - it looks rough but works fine. We can replace the cable with new Canare star-quad if desired.
