DETAILED DESCRIPTION (click to expand)

The ML15 is arguably the best sounding Soviet ribbon microphone ever manufactured, and this is an exemplary representation of its unique tone and incredible soviet-era build quality.

This ML15 has a new ribbon, new mic cable, and new connector and sounds precisely like our studio's own consecutive pair from the same year.

Our ML15s get chosen most frequently among our vast collection of Soviet, Japanese, and American vintage large ribbon mics with uses ranging from room mics, to overheads, to kick drums (yep) to guitar amps, to vocals.

Huge low end complimented with a rich and balanced midrange and very smooth top end make this mic a real standout.

The recording below was made entirely using only this ML15. This is our second original Microphone Jingle, written and performed by Lewis Rogers. There is no processing on any of the tracks.

We also have the original multitrack stems if you'd like to hear the mic on individual sources. Please reach out for access.
