The Oktava MD59 is a very well built omnidirectional dynamic mic from the 70's with surprisingly excellent and balanced sound quality that makes it useful in most situations, especially in front of a guitar cabinet.
This particular pair was our studios hand-picked pair for many years. The two mics are in good shape, sound almost identical, and are as good of a pair as you'll find.

The recording below was made entirely using only this pair of MD-59s. This is our second original Microphone Jingle, written and performed by Lewis Rogers. There is no processing on any of the tracks.
