You are looking at a 100% complete original 19a9 factory set from 1971, the last year the 19a9 was manufactured. This 19a9 has its original 20B35 PSU and cables, original capsule and diaphragm (with wax seal), original passport and documentation with proprietary frequency response chart, rubber shock mount stand adapter, standard thread adapter and spare NOS 6J1P tube in exceptional near-mint condition.
We listened to this microphone side-by-side with our studio's NOS pair, and it sounds exactly as 19a9 should sound. It is almost impossible to find an original 19a9 with it's original PSU in any condition - and this one almost looks new aside from a couple paint chips on the back and some pitting on the swivel base.
The 19a9 requires its original 20B35 PSU to sound as intended because half of the mic's electronics, namely its giant proprietary toroidal output transformer and huge paper-in-oil coupling capacitor, are located in the PSU. The 19a9's output transformer and coupling cap are integral to the sound of this mic, and the toroidal output transformer is unobtainable (as an original or with a modern replacement) because of its unusually high inductance. This later model 20B35 PSU from the 70s has a sensitivity switch on the front which selects output level.
