This is my favorite mic of all time, and it’s also my very first LOMO mic purchased in 2003. It has appeared on over a thousand recordings since then. This is an all-original 19a13, and a very early version as well (1966), the earliest example I've seen to date. The original capsule is in beautiful condition with balanced extended low-end, and the gorgeous smooth top end that the 19a13 is known for, making it one of the best sounding and most versatile vocal mics I've ever used.
This mic comes with an original and truly impossible to find shock mount cradle and shock mount, an original 20B81 PSU, a custom-made wooden case, and even the original manual.
We have three total 19a13s – this one, and two others that are a re-skinned matched pair with very close serial numbers. I held onto all three as long as I could justify it, but the truth is that I’ve never used all three in a session, but I have used a pair. Despite the fact that the one we’re selling is truly the best sounding 19a13 I’ve ever heard, we’ve decided to keep the reskinned pair. They don’t reach down quite as deep, and they’re, but I had to be the pragmatist in this difficult decision. This mic must go to someone that makes records or records regularly.

The recording below is "Mary" by the Grand Rapids, MI band Major Murphy. Jacob's lead vocal and the acoustic guitar were recorded simultaneously in our dead room, live with the band to 2" tape, using a single LOMO 19a13.
Please note that this is a final mix, so there is compression and EQ applied to the recording.
