This is the 4B3 Pro, which means it's specifically made for studio use, meaning it can be mounted in a rack, has balanced XLR inputs (as well as single-ended inputs via RCA), and two different gain settings.
This Bryston 4B3 Pro was purchased brand new from Vintage King in 2021 or 2022, I can't remember. We used it at our studio to power a pair of B&W Matrix 805 Loudspeakers as our near-field monitors, and it sounded incredible. We ended up swapping out the B&Ws for a pair of tri-amped mid-field monitors in early 2023, and so the Bryston moved into our live room where it powers a pair of big-ass B&W 801s, and it sounds even more incredible. Those things with that amp can really move some air. The low end is truly robust. Unfortunately we cannot justify keeping the Bryston just for our live room speakers - it belongs in a control room or mastering room.
This amplifier is extremely heavy! Like, realllllly heavy. And shipping to the USA is included in the price, so please consider that when you are thinking about the price.
