Not super obscure or rare, but definitely handy for anyone needing MADI I/O, particularly if using a mac mini or a macbook. The RME HDSPe MADI FX is the only PCIe card that offers two sets of MADI I/O (plus MIDI and AES/EBU). We had this as a spare for our PC to facilitate our two loaded Burl Motherships, and were going to use it with a Mac Mini, which is why it comes with the Sonnet Breakout Box - to interface the PCIe card via USB-C/Thunderbolt. Turns out the new Mac Mini M2 Pros don't work with the Sonnet, so we're selling this for less than we bought it for. If you only need the RME card and not the breakout box, just shoot me a message and we can work something out.
