This is a very rare Soviet omnidirectional dynamic mic, which appears to have been used as an early measurement mic. This is the second one that's come to the studio, and the second one I've ever seen. The other one we have sounds surprisingly "hi-fi". This one sounds impressively "lo-fi" meaning it doesn't have the same full range response, but it definitely sounds more interesting and makes for an excelent mono room mic for squashing, or as a supplemental guitar or vocal mic to blend in some unique character.
The mic was sent to Cole (Picks) and has been fully cleaned and tested. It comes with its original soviet military connector wired to XLR, it's original mic case (really nice one, in fact), and a larger/chunky shure mic clip that fits it quite nicely.
